Panel Glide Blinds

A modern window treatment solution featuring large fabric panels that slide quietly across a multi-channel track. Often used as an alternative to vertical blinds or curtains they are a popular alternative for large windows, sliding doors and even as a room divider.

Tracking systems can be installed on the wall or from the ceiling to create that modern floor to ceiling look. Tracking can be extended past the actual window or door space enabling the opening to be fully revealed. Tracks and wands are available in grey, white or black

Panel Glide styles are plain, plantation (with battens) or sewless (with a crease, a similar look to roman blinds).

General Details on Venetian Blinds

Pelmet

A valance or pelmet hides the venetians mechanical functionality at the top, returns are provided for face FIT

Controls

Tilt wands and pull cord controls can be left and/or right on up to three linked blinds

Tassels

On the end of the cord controls, these are available in plastic, timber, antique brass or gold

Hold downs

These clips are by request and secure the bottom rail in to stop your venetian blinds banging in the wind

Cannot recommend Shutters Direct highly enough, who made replacing our 20+ year old cedar timber venetians with shutters a seamless exercise. Andrew, the owner, personally measured & quoted, & his wife Sandie kept us updated with invoices & installation details by email. Andrew also personally removed all of the old timber venetians & installed all of the new shutters himself (an entire house full), with the great assistance of Deb. Competitively priced and very happy with the result. We had a shutter made for a large double hung window to match others already in our home. Andrew and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Our shutters are perfect. Well done Andrew and team - whole process was easy, and installation was great even though our 120+ year old house is not square anywhere!
