Our story
From Paddington to Geebung
The name has changed a little and so has the address, but the idea has not: a local business doing a careful job for Brisbane homes.

Timber Venetians and Shutters Direct
The business starts out in Paddington under its original name.
- 2014
Andrew and Sandie take over
A husband-and-wife team take the helm and keep the business local and family-run.
- 2016
A move to Enoggera
The business moves from Paddington to Enoggera.

Our Geebung warehouse & showroom
A larger warehouse and a showroom where you can see the products, at Unit 3, 31 Ellison Road.
The team
The people you will deal with
Family and friends — several of us met through the Commercial Hockey Club. Everyone knows what is happening on your job, so you are never starting the story again with someone new.
Andrew & Sandie
Owners
Andrew is the technical one: he looks at the opening, works out what will actually suit it and explains the options. Sandie runs the office and keeps every job on track.

Office
Works alongside Sandie in the office — booking measure and quotes, answering product questions and keeping you posted.
Debbie
Warehouse & installation
Sandie’s sister. Debbie runs the warehouse and installs, with an eye for the details that make a shutter sit right.
Conrad
Installation & fabrication
Installer and all-rounder. His fabrication skills come in handy on the unusual jobs.

We are not tied to one brand’s range, so we can recommend what fits the window rather than what we happen to stock.

Made-to-measure takes time. On longer orders we send regular updates — often about every fortnight — so you are never left wondering.

We offer options at different price points, but we will not install something we would not put our name to just to win on price.
