Planned as one job, not twenty windows

Doing a whole house at once is where shutters look their best. Louvre sizes, frame styles and finishes can be matched from room to room, so the house reads as one piece from the street and from the hallway — rather than a front room done years before the bedrooms.

It is also the job we most like doing. Plantation shutters are the heart of the business, and on a whole-home project the planning is where most of the value is: which frame suits which window, where a sliding panel works better than a hinged one, and which rooms should not be timber at all.

The right material in each room

A whole-home job is rarely one material. Bathrooms, ensuites, kitchens and laundries get polyresin, because moisture and timber do not mix. Living areas and bedrooms can be timber, or Western Red Cedar where the budget allows. A west-facing deck may want aluminium. Painted in the same colour with the same louvre size, they still read as one set.

Because we work across several suppliers, we are not forcing one range into every opening. We pick the product that suits each room and explain why when we hand over the quote.

Doing it in stages

Not everyone does the whole house in one go, and that is fine. If you are starting with a few rooms, we can measure the others you are thinking about at the same visit. When you are ready for the next stage, it can be quoted or ordered without us coming back to measure again.

It also means the second stage matches the first — same louvre, same frame, same finish — instead of being a best guess from a photo.

What happens while you wait

Made-to-measure shutters take time, and a whole-home order sits toward the longer end of our usual three-to-twelve-week range. On longer orders we send progress updates, often about every two weeks, so you are not left wondering where things are.

The same small team handles your job the whole way through — enquiry, quote, order, updates and installation — so nobody has to be brought up to speed halfway.

Common questions

Do all the rooms have to be the same material?

No, and usually they should not be. Wet areas get polyresin; living areas and bedrooms can be timber or cedar. Matching the colour and louvre size keeps the house looking consistent.

Can I start with a few rooms and do the rest later?

Yes. Tell us which other windows you are considering and we can measure them at the same visit, so the next stage can be quoted or ordered without another measure.

How long does a whole-home order take?

Our custom products typically take three to twelve weeks depending on the product and supplier, and plantation shutter orders are often at the longer end. We send updates while you wait.

Who will I be dealing with?

Our own small team, from the first call to installation. We are a family business out of Geebung, not a franchise, so the people quoting your job know how it is going.
