No cords, or no hands
Cordless & motorised honeycomb blinds
Two ways to get rid of the cords. Cordless honeycomb blinds are lifted and lowered by hand from the bottom rail; motorised ones run from a remote, a timer or an app. Both give a cleaner window, and cordless suits homes where cord safety matters.

Cordless or motorised?
Reachable windows usually go cordless; high ones go motorised. We will suggest which for each window.

Cordless honeycomb blinds
A cordless honeycomb blind has no pull cord or chain. You move it by the bottom rail — pull down to lower, push up to raise — and it stays where you leave it. The window looks cleaner without a cord hanging down the side, and there is nothing dangling within reach.
That makes cordless a popular choice for nurseries and children’s rooms, and for anyone who just prefers the look. It suits windows you can comfortably reach.
Motorised honeycomb blinds
For windows you cannot reach, or if you would rather not touch the blind at all, motorisation is available on applicable honeycomb systems. Depending on the system, that means a remote, a timer, an app on your phone, or a hub for smart-home control, powered by a hard-wired, battery, rechargeable or solar motor.
Timers are useful with honeycomb in particular: set the west-facing blinds to lower in the afternoon and the cells are doing their insulating work before the room heats up.
We confirm what your blinds can do
Not every honeycomb product comes cordless or motorised, and not every motor suits every size. We confirm the options for your windows before we quote, so there are no surprises on installation day.
