Homes in Chermside, and what suits them
Around the shopping centre and hospital precinct Chermside has become a suburb of units and townhouses, while the streets further out are still largely 1950s and 60s family homes. Units tend to have a few big glass doors onto a balcony; houses tend to have lots of standard windows.
For units we often suggest blinds: roller blinds for bedrooms, and a panel glide or Veri Shade across the balcony door. Houses are where shutters come into their own, room by room or all the way through.

Common questions
Can you do blinds in a Chermside unit or townhouse?
Yes. Units are a big part of what we do in Chermside. Some body corporates have rules about what can be seen from outside, so it is worth checking yours before we measure — we can work with a colour or backing that suits.
Is the measure and quote really free in Chermside?
Yes. We come to your Chermside home with samples, measure every window you are considering and give you a written, itemised quote. There is no charge and no obligation to go ahead.
